In Brief
The Karnataka Central Government Pensioners’ Association has been serving the pensioner community across the country for more than 50 years. It is a non-profit organisation registered with and recognised by the Government of India, Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare, New Delhi. It collaborates with more than 50 pensioners’ welfare associations all over the country and participates in all the activities designed by the Government for the pensioners’ welfare.
The Helping Hand for Pensioners
Karnataka Central Government Pensioners’ Association (KCGPA for short) is affiliated to the Bharat Pensioner Samaj, New Delhi and All India Federation of Pensioners Associations, Chennai. It is also an associate of the Co-ordination Committee of Central Government Pensioners’ Associations-Karnataka.
The volunteers of the KCGPA have been assisting the pensioners and family pensioners in all their pension-related issues by interacting with government agencies and banks. They also visit old-age homes and provide material support. they are always at the beck and call of the needy pensioners who are unable to move out. The membership of the KCGPA is open to any Government pensioner and family pensioner. Anyone can subscribe to the monthly magazine, Pensioners’ Digest.
